Full List of Winners of The 78th Golden Globes Award

One of the most coveted awards ceremony in the movie industry; the 78th Golden Globes was recently held virtually in two different locations simultaneously: New York and California amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The awards was yet again criticised for its continued lack of diversity as many of the winners used their acceptance speeches to call for inclusivity and diversity in the industry. Comedian hosts Tina Fey and AmyPoehler who compered the show from opposite coasts of the United States, also threw jabs and jokes at the event and it’s organisers.

Among the notable winners of the night were Black Panther superstar (late Chadwick Boseman), Daniel Kaluuya and John Boyega.

Boseman, whose demise last year came as a rude shock to the world, was awarded Best Actor for his phenomenal role in the 1920s-themed Jazz drama, Ma Rainey. Kaluuya got a Golden Globe nod for his role as Fred Hampton, the Black Panther leader in Judas and the Black Messiah
