Tesla Unveils Redesigned 2021 Model S

Elon Musk is not only the richest man in the world, he’s an influencer and a cult hero. Just a few days ago, he asked followers on Twitter if they wanted to see The Witcher game available in Tesla.

Tesla’s updated Model S features a 10-teraflop gaming computer that “enables in-car gaming on-par with today’s newest consoles.” The Model S will also come with “wireless controller compatibility that allows gaming available from any seat.”

This redesign is the Model S’ first major update since the 2012 debut of the electric sedan, the 17-inches center screen and the 8-inch rear-seat screen are simply fantastic having “2200×1300 resolution, ultra-bright colors with exceptional responsiveness and left-right tilt”

Tesla further boasts that “the new center display is an ideal touchscreen for entertainment and gaming anywhere.” This not only makes it renowned for its automobile capabilities but as an alternative gaming den.

Other Interior features of the redesigned model includes

• U-shaped butterfly steering wheel (aircraft-style yoke)
• Heated and ventilated seats all around
• More sculpted rear seats
• A new fold-down armrest with cupholders
• 22-speaker audio system
• Ambient lighting
• Three-zone climate control

Interestingly, the biggest visual change in the new Model S is the stupendous interior with just some light updates to the exterior of the car, which includes:

• A standard large glass roof
• New front bumper
• New 19- and 21-inch wheel designs
• A tweaked rear diffuser

Tesla says that the Plaid versions should be able to do five times as many runs as previous Model S sedans, thanks to the new powertrain, the new heat pump that was developed for the Model Y, which ensures a very small drag coefficient.

The company also claims a zero-to-60-mph acceleration time of 1.99 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph for the $121,190 Model S Plaid and the $141,190 Model S Plaid+ will accelerate even more quickly than that, making it the “fastest accelerating production car ever made.”

This new model, will commence shipping in March and if Elon’s recent tweets are anything to go by, then both Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 will be available to play on Tesla.
