Irish music sensation, Ovie has dropped a new addictive RnB/Afrobeats track dubbed “One More Time,” which happens to be his first off 2020. Its the artist’s follow-up to his 2019 release – Dublin Girl.
The accompanying visual which was self-directed, portrays a guy who craves to be with the one he loves “One More Time.”
Ovie in his explanation said:
“Production wise I wanted to create a juxtaposition between the lyrics on paper and the vibe of the song. Lyrically I tried to be very honest. It’s really a sad song but if you were to listen passively, I think you’d probably miss that. I told the story of a guy who seemingly has everything but is unhappy because he lost what really mattered in the process of getting everything he thought mattered.”
In terms of artistry, Ovie is one artist to watch out for, as he is not just a singer but a producer, songwriter, video director and more.
Ovie, rose to fame last year with his debut single – Dublin Girl which currently has over 250,000 streams on Spotify.
