Still basking in the euphoria of the #MC30 anniversary celebrations, marking the 30th year after the release of the self-titled studio album Mariah Carey (1990). The party continued when Carey unveiled The Rarities album.
Rarities is a collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks such as the “Save the Day” a collaboration with Lauryn Hill.
The compilation also comes with a bonus concert set, “Live at the Tokyo Dome,” from Carey’s first Japan show in 1996.
A new book ‘The Meaning of Mariah Carey‘ was also released earlier in the week revealing some shocking secrets about the music star from growing up Bi-racial, to her estranged husbands and her musical sojourn.
