So far, its been a music-drop galore, two posthumous albums in a space of two weeks, EP releases and numerous singles all over the internet.
Below are a few artistic projects to add to your playlist.
First off, posthumous album Legends Never Die, was dropped. The album which boasts of 21 long tracks is Juice Wrld‘s follow up to “Death Race For Love,” and third studio album.
Just after the release of New Toronto 3 which was a great album, Tory Lanez drops a new EP. Surprisingly, this EP just has two songs, featuring his new Label sign-in – VV$ Ken on “392.”
Another EP to add to your weekend playlist is Summer Walker’s Life On Earth. The 5-track effort features No1-Noah on “SWV” and White Tee and PartyNextDoor on “My Affection“. In recent months its been hits back to back for the songstress.
Now to singles…
For the rap music lovers, Kid Cudi teams up with Eminem on a relatable rap effort dubbed “The Adventure of Moon Man and Slim Shady.” Kid Cudi hops on the first verse, rapping about time in rehab and going through the “dark and the light”, and Eminem raps about Covid-19 and police brutality (remembering George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery).
Also, Wizkid and Legendary Beats have created yet another joint which they titled “Sade.” The lyrics of the song sits perfectly with the party themed music video directed by TBA.
“SWAG” is yet another release from Kehlani‘s ex-boyfriend, YG. This is the artist’s follow-up to “F*ck The Police” released in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.
