Ty Dolla $ign enlists Kanye West, FKA Twigs and Skrillex on a very special record dubbed “Ego Death“. This release comes just after Kanye featuring Travis Scott dropped “Wash Us In The Blood” the first single off the forthcoming “God’s Country” album.
Ty Dolla $ign speaking on the inspiration of this hit jamz, revealed it was culled from a conversation of a group of ladies at a party.
“I heard some girls saying something about some guy, like, ‘Oh, that’s the death of his ego.”I remembered that when I got to the house. I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s hard.’ It’s like I had the song ‘Ego Death,’ and then I made the beat.”
Kanye in his usual controversial style, took multiple shots at the Grammys and Superbowl, saying people only go there to achieve what they already are. The song ends with a short outro delivered by FKA Twigs.
So far in 2020, Ty Dolla $ign’s Ego Death is regarded as the biggest music collaboration we’ve seen. The artist himself claims this star-studded project is his best work yet.
