Megan Thee Stallion has officially released her new album – Suga.
The album was briefly delayed due to a legal battle between the Houston rapper and her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment.
Megan Thee Stallion who first brought the outburst to social media, that her label was preventing her from releasing new music. She then went on to file a lawsuit against 1501 to get out of her contract.
The good news is that Meg was granted a temporary restraining order (TRO), which allows her to release new music.
“The deal signed when she was 20 years old, gave 1501 a cut of the money she makes from records, tours, merchandise, and endorsements that is disproportionate to the services the team has been able to provide.”
In celebration of her new found freedom, the breakout star who mixes the power of Hip Hop with the romanticism of R&B released a raunchy video for “B.I.T.C.H.,” – the lead single from Suga. .
