Billie Eilish is a name synonymous to record breaking. The youngest winner in the 2020 Grammy’s four main categories, also made history again as the youngest artist ever to write and record a Bond theme song.
At the 2020 BRITs Awards in London, Billie for the first time did a live performance of the song from the upcoming James Bond movie titled, “No Time to Die”.
Joining Eilish for the live performance were her brother Finneas, former Smiths’ guitarist Johnny Marr and renowned film composer Hans Zimmer. All of whom were credited to have had significant inputs in the studio version of the song.
The studio version of the theme was released just only a few days before the BRITs Award. While the highly anticipated film would hit cinemas on the 10th of April, 2020.
In similitude with previous Bond theme-songs “No Time to Die” is slow and ominous, with Eilish doing justice to it with her sonorous vocals coupled with mellifluous background orchestra.
At the end of the song, Billie Eilish outstandingly nailed it all with a crazy high note climax.
