Eminem made a surprise return to the music scene with an unannounced release of his 11th studio album, Music to Be Murdered By.
In what is gradually becoming a trend, Eminem’s last album Kamikaze (2018) was similarly released as a surprise album.
The 20 tracks’ new album features a verse from the late Juice WRLD. Other featured artists include Royce da 5’9”, Black Thought, Q-Tip, Ed Sheeran, Young M.A, Skylar Grey and many others.
Along with the album release, Em also shared visuals for the track “Darkness”. Where he advocates for Gun Control and voter’s registration.
The album title and artwork is a direct tribute to Alfred Hitchcock‘s 1958 horror film. Eminem was pictured with a fedora hat and a shovel at hand in one version of the album art and a gun and an axe in another.
