The South African artist treated her fans to an exotic visual filmed in her native village, Limpopo and in Los Angeles. The music video has elements of Shangaan electro that perfectly blends with the famous xibelani dance and outfits.
Madjozi through the video told a story of her rise to stardom in which she had to challenge the status quo. She was told by popular opinion that she can’t succeed in Joburg adorning her traditional attire and speaking her language XiTsonga. Instead, she surpassed their limitations and travelling as far as Hollywood.
Since churning out Limpopo Champions League, Sho Madjozi has being on a winning streak. “This album has produced 1 platinum single (‘Huku’), one gold single (‘Wakanda’), two SAMAs and one BET Award.
