Sho Madjozi celebrates the one year anniversary of her debut album Limpopo Champions League with new visuals for Kona, one of the hits on the LP.

Sho Madjozi releases new Kona visuals to celebrate one year anniversary of her debut album Limpopo Champions League. The album also had hits like John Cena and Huku.

The South African artist treated her fans to an exotic visual filmed in her native village, Limpopo and in Los Angeles. The music video has elements of Shangaan electro that perfectly blends with the famous xibelani dance and outfits.

Madjozi through the video told a story of her rise to stardom in which she had to challenge the status quo. She was told by popular opinion that she can’t succeed in Joburg adorning her traditional attire and speaking her language XiTsonga. Instead, she surpassed their limitations and travelling as far as Hollywood.

Since churning out Limpopo Champions League, Sho Madjozi has being on a winning streak. “This album has produced 1 platinum single (‘Huku’), one gold single (‘Wakanda’), two SAMAs and one BET Award. It has put me on stages around the globe and got me on the covers Elle, Cosmopolitan, Bona etc.” The singer recounted on IG

As part of her continued rising success, Sho sang one of her hits John Cena on A COLORS SHOW. To the amazement of the starstruck artist, the WWE superstar wrestler surprised her by coming onstage.
