Movie Review of Terminator: Dark Fate

Terminator: Dark Fate is the sixth movie of the popular Terminator franchise.

Below is the chronological order of the movie series till date:

  1. The Terminator (1984)
  2. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
  3. Rise of the Machines (2003)
  4. Salvation (2009)
  5. Genisys (2015)
  6. Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)

Dark Fate is a direct sequel to the hugely successful first two films of the brand. Ignoring the 3rd, 4th and 5th movies as though the events never happened.

The latest movie brings back older characters, including ‘Sarah Connor’ (61 year old, Linda Hamilton) and the original Terminator himself ‘T-800’ (70 year old, Arnold Schwarzenegger).

It’s difficult not to be excited about this new Terminator movie. As not only the original actors returned in their iconic roles. James Cameron the former director returned as the Producer.

Tim Miller of the Deadpool brand is the director of this latest Terminator movie. Other stars in the movie include Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna.

Dark Fate is rated R as it contains “violence throughout, obscene language and brief nudity.” This rating places it in the same category with Joker and Deadpool (both box-office hits).
