Singer-songwriter and producer The-Dream is known for delivering songs to get you in the mood and give you the vibe that you’re looking for. And recently, he displayed his live vocal abilities with his own “Tiny Desk” concert for NPR.
Donning all black with a hint of gold, the talented artist jumped off his live performance with the seductive single, “Bedroom” — lifted from the second volume of his most recent project “Ménage à Trois: Sextape.” Ending the song by saying, “It’s kinda hard to sing like that with the daylight out,” The-Dream reminds onlookers that his music is made for, well…the bedroom.
The singer then give his live rendition of “Back In Love” — also lifted from the “Sextape” trilogy — and wrapped things up with an oldie, but goodie, “I Luv Your Girl” from his debut album “LoveHate.”
Following suit of previous Tiny Desk concerts, The-Dream was backed by a full band that would be perfect for an unplugged or live album.
Take a look at the performance below and tell us what you think.
