The mood was set over at NPR as dvsn performed “Tiny Desk” series.
The OVO signed, Toronto duo of Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 smoothly performed a three-song set to an intimate crowd at the NPR studio’s. Backed by a four-piece band and three background singers, Daley held down the fort while bandmate and producer Nineteen85 hung back in the audience playing maestro. Dressed in all black, the group performed “Too Deep” from their Sept. 5 project, “Body Smile” and “Mood” from last year’s Morning After album.
The group even brought their own lighting crew to ensure that the atmosphere was properly set and just as romantic as their usual, venue-staged performances.
While we’re waiting on any hint of new music, dvsn is continuing to deliver video content with their work on their docuseries Since October. They also produced for Mariah Carey’s new project and were featured in Fear of God’s “Sixth Collection” campaign.
