Hold on to your horses kids… the news could be 100% real! Spotify is finally launching in South Africa. The rumor mill went buzzing when South African journalists received invites to an event for 13 March with the invite stating, “Spotify has news to share”.
In South Africa, we have other music streaming services like Deezer and Apple Music available but according to music lovers in other markets, Spotify leads the pack from notability, usability and music catalog.
Created in Sweden in 2008, Spotify boasts over 159 million active users across 61 markets and features more than 30 million songs.
