WATCH: Ariana Grande feat. Victoria Monét – Monopoly

Ariana Grande is back with a new video and this time featuring her best friend Victoria Monét in the eagerly-awaited collaboration “Monopoly.”

After working together on hits including “thank u, next” and “7 rings,” the best friends show off their tight bond in the accompanying video for their friendship anthem. They brush off the bad vibes and film themselves on a rooftop in the emoji-filled clip.

In the song, Ariana also addresses the publishing debacle over her “7 rings” single. She gave 90 percent of the songwriting royalties to Rodgers and Hammerstein, who penned the original sample “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music.

“You’d be straight for life if I gave you my pin / Even though we gave up that 90 percent for the win,” sings Ariana while a photo of Julie Andrews appears on screen.

The singers have worked together throughout the years including on Ariana’s latest album thank u, next. Monét co-wrote “thank u, next” and “7 rings,” which remains No. 1 on the Hot 100 for an eighth week.
